Established in 1990 and based in Oxford, FOCUS is one of the region’s most respected firms of Independent Insurance Consultants.
Today, FOCUS is a truly independent insurance intermediary providing the full range of services to our extensive client base of both businesses and private individuals.
Focus Oxford Risk Management Ltd has a team of talented staff providing bespoke solutions and first class service in all areas of commercial/business insurance and private client insurance needs and arrangements.
FOCUS continues to be forward-thinking and we constantly review and update working practices to ensure that we remain not only legally compliant, but as importantly, in a position to provide our clients with the most up to date and appropriate insurance solutions.
As a truly independent broker, FOCUS has the ability to place business with the whole of market and will only provide cover that our clients truly need. We will only deal with insurers which carry a strong financial rating and who are trusted to deliver on claims quickly and efficiently.
FOCUS has become a trusted and valued insurance broker to a great many clients and fellow professional advisers. We have been operating as professional broker to our clients for more than 25 years, and many of our clients have been with us since we started.
We believe our success has been built as we have often taken a different approach to providing the solutions for our clients’ needs. We quickly recognised that our clients were looking for a very much more personal approach, rather than having to search the internet or talking to a provider over the phone and never talking to the same personal twice. This is why our clients can speak to us whenever they need us.
We pride ourselves on service, first and foremost; helping our clients get the best cover at the most competitive price available.
The Insurance Act 2015 is new legislation that came into effect on 12 August 2016. It makes some important changes to your relationship with your insurer, including rules regarding when your insurer is allowed to reject a claim. It’s designed to make insurance clearer and fairer but also the Act says that the policyholder’s duty is to take reasonable care not to make a misrepresentation and to disclose to the insurer any information which is relevant to the risk to be insured whether requested by the insurer or not. Please ensure you download and read the attached important guidelines.
