Coronavirus & FOCUS – what we’re doing to remain operational

I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that during this difficult period and the extreme challenges that Covid-19 is posing for everyone, FOCUS Oxford Risk Management is doing everything it can to continue (where possible) and is open for business as usual.

We are rigorously following the advice by Public Health England and putting the health and well-being of our employees, their families, our valued clients and their loved ones first.

We want to maintain our service to you where we can and our taking steps to ensure we can provide a continued service and be available to advise on all insurance matters when you need us. These are unique and difficult times and we are doing everything within our powers to maintain ‘business as usual’.

Our key aim is that we remain operational and available to provide a continuous service throughout this difficult period. However, we would ask you to bear with us during this difficult time.

We are taking the following specific actions:

  • We are restricting access to the office to staff only.
  • All meetings – with our clients, insurance providers and external partners, are being held via telephone/conference call.
  • All business travel to meetings, clients, conferences etc has already ceased – ahead of last night’s announcement by the Government.
  • We have set up the facility for team members to work from home in the event that the office needs to close, or staff have to self-isolate along with family members.

During this period, our contact details remain unchanged. You can reach us on the main office number/email address – or via the direct telephone numbers/email addresses for your usual contact at FOCUS.

We do not currently foresee any impact on the continuity of our service, but should the situation change we will notify you immediately. Although we believe the actions we have put in place are appropriate for the current levels of risk,  they remain under constant review.

In the meantime, we’d strongly advise you keep up to date with information from a reputable source – such as the dedicated Gov.uk website. You might also like to review our business planning document.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your insurance cover, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

With very best wishes.

Nick Jones Cert CII
