On Friday 4th October we were delighted to host our annual event as part of the MacMillan Cancer Support World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Once again, we opened our offices to friends, family, colleagues and clients with an array of cakes, bakes and savoury goodies on offer. The atmosphere was simply buzzing as guests enjoyed delights such as lemon drizzle cake, spiced apple cake, brownies, cookies and cupcakes produced by our dedicated band of bakers, washed down with plenty of tea and coffee.
As an added treat this year, there was a gin table. A selection of gins, mixes, garnishes – including a very popular non-alcoholic version.
With the office open for guests from 10:30am, the team also did an afternoon tea trolley to neighbouring offices which not only boosted the piggy bank but also meant that every last crumb was eaten.
And of course – there was the coveted “star baker” award – which this year was given to Private Client Executive, Mat Burden, for his utterly delicious Port & Stilton Sausage Rolls. These went down an absolute storm as a Friday morning treat!
The aim – as always – was to raise as much money as we can for MacMillan Cancer Support – and our target was to beat last year’s total of £800.
We are delighted to announce that we well and truly did this – raising a fantastic £1000.

What a fab morning! We couldn’t have asked for more: every imaginable home made bake, support from our clients, connections, friends and fellow residents of Seacourt Tower.
With a target of £800 (last year’s total) we smashed it with a massive £1,000 for MacMillan – a truly wonderful cause. Bring on 2020!!
